About BJSC

Bellerive Junior Soccer Club (BJSC) is a member club of the Eastern Region Junior Soccer Association (ERJSA), the organising body for junior football (soccer) in South East Tasmania and affiliated with the state body, Football Tasmania.

We primarily recruit club members from Bellerive Primary School (BPS) and The Cottage School but are open to anyone in the community keen to be involved. In 2024 we are welcoming over 170 players across 21 individual teams, managed by 20+ volunteer coaches.

Our history as a club dates back at least as far as the early 2000s and ensures that children within the community have an opportunity to play football locally with their friends in an accessible and affordable youth program.

Our teams range from Kinder (age 4) to Grade 6 (age 12) with many children choosing to graduate on to club football within the Central region after that point. What's best about BJSC and the ERJSA is the egalitarian and inclusive club culture that gives equal game time and participation opportunity, no matter the ability or development level of players. The emphasis is on having fun with the priority placed on a healthy overall culture.
