There has been a lot of work going on by the committee to try to get things organised for the season. I know some emails and contacts may have been missed here and there, but please allow a little grace for us!
Uniforms
This has been posted in the Facebook group before by Owen, but here is the info.
Uniforms (shirt, shorts and socks) will be available for collection on the following days:
- Wednesday 6th May 3:00pm – 3:30pm — The Cottage School
- Thursday 7th May, 2:50pm – 3:20pm — Bellerive Primary School, outside the school office
- Thursday 7th May, 5pm - 6:00pm 107 Clarence St, Bellerive
All sizes are available for players to try on if needed.
Coaches or another representative are welcome to collect uniforms on behalf of a whole team (please organise individual player sizes beforehand)
If you can't make one of the above times, please organise someone else to pick up your child's uniform. As we've got over 200 uniforms to give out, we won't be able to make alternative arrangements outside of these times.
If your child still has shorts from last season that fit, please only collect new shorts if you need them. We'd also greatly appreciate the return of any outgrown pairs at any of the sessions above.
You might like to give a special thanks to Owen when you collect uniform, as it's been a bit of a nightmare this year with supplier issues on obtaining what we needed.
Coaches kits
These will be available after school on Monday between the shed at the turning circle and the main 3/4 block of the school. Basically, go to the turning circle and you will find me.
Kits should all include:
- enough balls for one per child in your team + coach
- first aid kit
- enough bibs for your team if they have a clash of uniforms
- a whistle
- cones
- goalkeepers gloves and top for U8 and above
If you find things missing, please let us know. We've done our best but mistakes can happen.
You can also pick up some pop up goals, and there is some availablility of agility poles and things that is a first in best dressed, but hopefully have a plan to use them as there aren't enough for all teams.
KITS WILL ONLY BE GIVEN TO TEAMS THAT HAVE A COACH/MANAGER REGISTERED AND APPROVED
This is something you have to ensure. We are responsible for the team having someone registered in the PlayFootball system, that has a valid RWVP card. If we haven't got that, we won't give our a kit and you won't train or play. It's that simple.
If you are waiting on receiving your card, I'd suggest checking if anyone in the team has one that can register and be present, even if you are doing the coaching. That is an acceptable bridging of the timeline gap.
Teams Currently Approved
These are the teams I have someone down for and who. Multiple names is multiple people who have registered, which is wonderful so we have cover if the one coach is away! If you see a mistake, let me know!

Teams requiring approval
These are the teams that I either don't know who is coach, or doesn't have a currently approved registration. For some of you I know you have applied for your RWVP card, but haven't received it yet. If that applies to you, please check if there is someone else in the team that has one that can be there in the interim. You can have literally every parent registered if you want, that doesn't mean they have to coach, but it means that so long as at least one of them is present, we are covered.
Registering is free and takes a matter of minutes. If you have a RWVP card, put in a volunteer registration just in case.

Training
Showtime
We are trying to organise some coaching from the Showtime Soccer School this year! The intent is to run this through term 2, for all U8 to U10 teams. This is something we've been looking into for a while (discussion started during last season).
We recognise that there may be some other teams that feel like they are missing out, but please bear in mind that this is something that we've had a lot of thought on how we can provide the best value to the most people, without having raised registration fees at all to pay for this. We view it as a test program that, hopefully, with success we could look to extend next season. If you have any concerns, then reach out with an email, and consider joining the committee for more input (see below).
Training for this is planned on the top oval on Tuesday afternoons from 3.15pm. Given the number of teams involved in this, that will be an exclusive use of the oval for them on a Tuesday afternoon.
If you are in those teams, that doesn't prevent you doing additional training if you want to, but that is not something that is required.
Other training times
I recognise I may have missed a message somewhere, but this is what I have got down at this point in time.
Monday
- U8 White - top oval
- U7 Green - bottom oval
- U7 White
Wednesday
- U6 Gold
- U5 Green - bottom
- U5 White - bottom
Thursday
- U7 Black
Friday
- U6 Blue - bottom
- U8/9 Girls Blue - top
New Committee
As has been posted in Facebook, the majority of the committee will be stepping away at the end of the season (Andrew, Owen, and Scott). That means for the Club to continue to exist in 2027 and beyond new volunteers will be needed. So far, one person has come forward to offer to help (hi Tiarna ❤️). We will try to organise a time soon for people to drop in, maybe have a drink, and ask any questions they have about what is involved and what they might be able to do to help.
Rosters
These are available in Dribl. You want to add teams that you follow by going through the levels of Eastern Region Junior Soccer Association -> Rounds 1-4 -> Bellerive Junior Soccer Club -> pick your team based on age and colour (ignore the water, air, fire stuff).
